Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Our Commitment

Long Island Laser Engraving is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level, the standard used by the U.S. Department of Justice and most accessibility laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Accessibility is foundational platform quality. It is treated as a release requirement, not optional polish.

What We Do

  • Color contrast meets or exceeds the WCAG AA 4.5:1 ratio for body text on every page.
  • A visible Skip to Main Content link is the first focusable element on every page.
  • Every interactive element has a clearly visible focus indicator. Tab navigation reaches every control.
  • Forms, including checkout and account flows, use proper labels, required-field indicators, and announce errors to screen readers.
  • Animations and motion respect the operating system Reduced Motion preference.
  • Headings, landmarks, and ARIA roles are used to communicate page structure to assistive technology.
  • The cart, checkout, and account dashboards have been audited for keyboard and screen reader operability.

Conformance Status

We aim for full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. The site is independently audited and remediated in waves, with each wave validated before the next is dispatched.

Some areas remain in active improvement, including richer ARIA semantics in advanced product configurators and ongoing review of third-party embedded components such as the Square payment form.
